The site is open and operational 24/7. If someone is already there and charging, you can use the second plug!

Electrona is expanding the Tasmania fast charger network for EV drivers in regional areas, thanks to the Tasmanian Government ReCFIT ChargeSmart Grants Program.

Our new public rapid Electric Vehicle Charger is now open in Bicheno, Tasmania.
The unit is probably the first in Australia and New Zealand to allow app-free charging using its on-board credit card reader!
Two parking bays are reserved for electric vehicle charging only - one for DC rapid charge and the other for AC Charge.
The unit can be safely operated from the footpath and has awesome built-in lighting for safe night use.
